Routines for DRY SKIN
Is Dry skin your target focus? A lot of people think that if your skin is dry you need to slather on the moisturizer, which isn’t always the case. It takes finding the correct moisturizer for your skin type, medical grade is always best, due to so many over the counter products are filled with fillers, artificial fragrances, pretty packaging. Expensive “name brand” i.e Sephora Brands, Tatcha, Clinique, Drunk Elephant, etc. are a good example. This is our go-to EMD protocol for dry skin:
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
AM: Suds Cleanser, Plump, Drench (apply as needed, or alternate between using plump and drench), All Eyes on You, Sunbrella
PM: Suds Cleanser, Liquid Sunshine, The Eyes Have It, Drench
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
AM: Suds Cleanser, Plump, Drench (apply as needed, or alternate between using plump and drench), All Eyes on You, Sunbrella

Monthly Facials or Hydrafacials
Dermaplaning
Routines for OILY SKIN
Large pores, oily skin, breakouts, sound familiar? Would you be surprised if we told you it’s because your skin is dehydrated and trying to overcompensate for it. Exfoliating and moisturizing is the key to success in bringing balance back to your skin. Exfoliating is important in allowing products to penetrate like they need to, reduce pore size, promote cell turnover. Moisturizing is the additional key in helping combat the above struggles.
Sunday-Friday
AM: Plump, All Eyes on You, Sunbrella
PM: Suds Cleanser, Liquid Sunshine, One Stop Shop, The Eyes Have It/All Eyes on You, Drench/Calm Balm
Saturday
AM: Plump, All Eyes on You, Sunbrella
PM: Suds Cleanser, Polished Pads, Drench or Calm Balm (*Darker skin tones substitute Polished Pads for Skin Mechanic)
Additional In-office treatment options for oily skin:
ROUTINES for pigmentation issues
Pigmentation problems? If you’ve been diagnosed with Melasma you know the struggle. Or maybe you have dark spots that will not go away no matter what you use. Maybe you’ve been told your pigmentation issue is hereditary and there is nothing that can be done about it. Pigmentation issues can be extremely frustrating and even seem hopeless, but with the right medical grade skincare it is possible to correct years of damage and prevent future issues. I prescribe the EMD Skin Tone protocol to any of my patients with pigmentation issues, and results are generally seen in as little as 2 weeks.
